Desktop coding agent for macOS and Windows

Steer everything the model sees and does.

Edit the context, pick the tools, rewrite what the model is told — in the same window you work in. Bring your own API key or subscription.

The context

Edit what the model sees.

The timeline is the context. Right-click between two cards to insert a system prompt, a message, a model reply, a reasoning field or a tool call with its result. Edit cards in place — the model’s own replies included — or branch from any message. Then send with an empty message box, and the model carries on from the timeline as you left it.

How it works

The tools

Every conversation gets its own tools.

Switch built-in tools, MCP servers, skills, hooks and subagent roles on or off per conversation, and give each role its own model. Save the combination as a preset, give it opening messages as a template, and make it a project's default.

How it works

The prompts

No hidden prompts.

The system prompt is a card in your timeline. Every sentence Mework adds on its own — tool descriptions, the environment, what subagents are told — is a key in a prompt profile, and a profile file overrides just the keys you name.

How it works

And the rest of the job.

Your keys. Your machine.

No account and no telemetry. Mework talks only to the model providers and services you set up.
